Reins & Roots CIC exists to remove financial barriers to structured equine wellbeing programmes.

Your support helps fund early intervention, confidence-building and community access to horses.

As a Community Interest Company, all surplus is reinvested into community provision.

What Your Support Makes Possible

Through donations, sponsorship and partnerships, we are able to:

• Fund 6-week youth wellbeing programmes
• Provide subsidised riding sessions
• Deliver early intervention support
• Offer community wellbeing access

Access to horses should not be determined by income.

Donation Impact

£40 - Funds one supported riding session

£135 - Supports one young person for a half-day wellbeing session

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Reins & Roots CIC is a Community Interest Company (CIC), not a registered charity. Donations are therefore not eligible for Gift Aid or tax relief.

    However, all funds raised are reinvested directly into community programmes in line with our asset lock.

  • All donations are used to support our community objectives, including:

    • Funding 6-week youth wellbeing programmes
    • Providing subsidised riding sessions
    • Supporting early intervention blocks
    • Covering delivery costs such as horse hire, facilities and safeguarding

    As a CIC, surplus funds cannot be distributed for private gain and must be used for community benefit.

  • We welcome interest from individuals who share our commitment to community wellbeing and equine access.

    Volunteer opportunities may include:

    • Supporting fundraising initiatives
    • Assisting at community events
    • Programme support (where appropriate and subject to safeguarding checks)
