Reins & Roots CIC was established to create accessible, structured equine wellbeing programmes for children, young people and adults.
We believe access to horses and structured wellbeing support should not be limited by financial circumstances.
Our work focuses on early intervention, confidence-building and community wellbeing through calm, purposeful equine interaction.
Who we are
Reins & Roots CIC is a Community Interest Company limited by guarantee.
We operate under an asset lock, meaning all surplus is reinvested into community benefit in line with our objectives.
The organisation is overseen by a board of directors committed to safeguarding, equine welfare and accessible community provision.
Our Approach
We deliver:
• Short-term structured wellbeing programmes
• 6-week early intervention youth blocks
• Adult resilience and wellbeing programmes
• Funded and subsidised riding sessions
• Licensed equine therapy provision
All sessions are safeguarding led and delivered within a professional, welfare focused equine environment.
Our programmes are structured, time bound and designed to complement , not replace ,formal education provision.
Partnership Delivery
Programmes are delivered in partnership with Orchard facilities under formal service agreements.
This ensures:
