Apply For One of our programmes
Applications for anyone under 18 must be submitted by a parent, guardian or referring professional.
Introduction
Access to funded riding sessions and wellbeing programmes is application-based to ensure fair allocation of community-funded places.
We prioritise individuals and families experiencing financial hardship or barriers to accessing equine activities.
Submitting an application does not guarantee a place.
Who Can Apply
Applications are welcomed for the following programmes and services:
• Youth Wellbeing Programmes (Ages 12–16)
• Adult Wellbeing Programmes
• Equine Assisted Therapy (subject to suitability assessment)
• SEND Parent & Child Sessions
• Funded Riding Sessions
Places may be funded, subsidised, or privately accessed depending on availability and programme type.
Who Can Refer
Referrals and applications may be made by:
• Parents or guardians
• Schools or educational settings
• Community organisations or support services
• Self-referral (adults aged 18+)
All applications are reviewed to ensure safe and appropriate participation within our equine environment.
Suitability & Safeguarding
All applications and referrals are reviewed to ensure participation is appropriate and safe within an equine environment.
Reins & Roots CIC operates within a safeguarding-led and welfare-focused setting. Participation may be subject to a suitability conversation or assessment where required.
Our programmes support wellbeing, confidence and personal development, but they do not replace medical, psychological or crisis support services.
Participation in equine activities involves working around large animals and requires adherence to safety guidance provided by staff.
Apply for Support
